The Center for Contemporary Art will feature three solo exhibitions. "Benthic Elegies" features the work of artist Patti Jordan. Jordan is an interdisciplinary artist conflating two and three-dimensional analog and digital processes. "Continuum' showcases the work of Judi Tavill. Tavill uses sculpture and drawing to create work that speaks to the complications of connection and entanglement. "Constellation" features the oil paintings of artist Wes Sherman. Sherman has been an artist for over 30 years. In that time, he’s had 50 solo exhibitions and has been included in hundreds of group exhibitions in the US and in Europe.

The Center invites visitors on Sunday, April 27 to join The Center for the "Art Throwdown" fundraiser beginning at 3:00pm. This afternoon event is geared towards art lovers and families. "Art Throwdown" features The Center’s teaching artists, board, staff, and individual artists, competing in a fast-paced format to complete a piece of original art using mystery items as part of their final work of art in just one hour.
