As part of Garden State Art Weekend 2026, the Galleries at Kean University invite visitors to explore a series of Spring 2026 exhibitions across multiple campus gallery spaces, featuring both New Jersey–based artists and nationally-recognized voices.

Liberty Hall Academic Center Gallery, Transcending Boundaries: The Artist at Work featuring 34 New Jersey artists from the Matheny Arts Access Program, January 26 – May 1, 2026
Together, these exhibitions present a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, collage, sculpture, and interdisciplinary installation. Visitors are invited to encounter works that engage themes of identity, family, resilience, access, and creative process across distinct gallery environments.
During Garden State Art Weekend, guests are welcome to visit all participating gallery spaces during open hours and experience exhibitions that encourage reflection, dialogue, and community connection. The Galleries at Kean are proud to participate in this statewide celebration of visual art and to support Garden State Art Weekend’s mission to connect communities through creativity.
