Mana Contemporary
Founded in 2011 in a former Jersey City tobacco warehouse, Mana Contemporary is a major arts organization and creative hub spanning over 2 million square feet. It unites artist studios, exhibition spaces, and residencies in Jersey City, Chicago, and Miami, facilitating artistic collaboration and providing public access to the creative process.

Pierogi Flat Files Presented by Pierogi Gallery and Mana Contemporary in collaboration with Monira Foundation, all work available for purchase under $3,500
Inclusive by design, Flat Files showcases a wide cross-section of contemporary practice, from emerging to established artists. In addition to the portfolios, the exhibition includes salon-style installations and larger complementary works. First launched at Pierogi in Brooklyn in 1994, the Flat Files has grown to include more than 800 artists and has been presented at major institutions nationwide and internationally, evolving in dialogue with each host community.
This edition highlights the work of over 30 artists from the Mana Contemporary community.

Books disseminate ideas to some of the largest audiences in the world, empowering makers of all disciplines to share ideas and give strength to communities far and wide. Through the Open Book program, the exhibition highlights makers from around the world to present unique works and ideas. Open Book (altered) focuses on highlighting artist book makers who utilize the book to bring ideas to life through traditional and non-traditional book forms, as well as artists whose work can be viewed through the approach of an open book and displayed using different media and formats.
