S4A is a diverse collective of artists with roots in South Asia and now based in the US. Founded in NJ in 2016 by a small group of artists, the association has since expanded to over 170 members. S4A artists draw inspiration from their heritage, identities, communities, and unique cross-cultural life experiences. Their practices explore an array of subject matter and styles, from contemporary to traditional. They are active both nationally and internationally, working in various media such as painting, photography, sculpture, wood burning, beadwork, digital art, ceramics, and more. The group aims to elevate South Asian artistry and foster a vibrant dialogue between tradition and creativity in the local and global art landscape.

S4A is delighted to be part of MPAC's continuing tradition of art exhibitions in Morristown and to participate in the third annual GSAW to celebrate NJ's exceptional art scene!
