On View the Weekend of April 17–19, 2026:
See It Now: Contemporary Art from the Ann and Mel Schaffer Collection (February 7 – June 28, 2026)
Drawn from over fifty years of adventurous collecting by Ann and Mel Schaffer, this exhibition brings together bold, thought-provoking works spanning inventive installations, intimate portraits, and conceptual pieces — united by a shared curiosity about what it means to be human.
JP Terlizzi: Remembering Eden (November 22, 2025 - June 28, 2026)
Contemporary still-life photographs by New Jersey artist JP Terlizzi explore the connection between memory, meaning, and beauty. Through arrangements of food, flora, heirlooms, and textiles, the work reflects on belonging, inheritance, and the fragile ways memory endures in the objects we keep.
Interwoven Power: Native Knowledge / Native Art (Ongoing)
A long-term reinstallation of MAM's Indigenous art collection featuring 50 works by artists from more than 40 Native nations, exploring relationships to the earth, gender and family, sovereignty, and the transformative power of art.
George Inness: Visionary Landscapes — New Works and Native Views (Ongoing)
A salon-style reinstallation of 19 works spanning every period of Inness's career, from his early realist landscapes to his final, spiritually abstract expressions.
Christine Romanell: Sacred Transition (September 13, 2025 – August 9, 2026)
An immersive installation in MAM's Laurie Art Stairway featuring 3D-printed sculptures inspired by sacred geometry, framed by laser-cut dichroic plexiglass that casts colorful, shifting reflections throughout the day. Romanell is the founder of Garden State Weekend.
