Skylands Museum of Art - Enjoy an engaging permanent collection of sculpture, paintings and illustrations based on characters from fairy tales, poems, literature and mythology. Artists include Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Lenor Fini, Brian Froud, Michael Parkes, Brian Branch, David Derr, Massimo Rao, Anne Bachelier, Ailene Fields and others.

With 9 rooms on 3 floors, the fine art is beautifully presented by theme: fairy tales, dragons, human psyche, faces & flowers, animals, Baby Yaga, sacred spaces and mythology. Temporary exhibits have included oil paintings by Anne Bachelier on The Phantom of the Opera and the mysterious work by Italian painter, Massimo Rao.

Spend an hour or an afternoon viewing the 350+ works on display; enjoy a temporary exhibit or special event; take an art or creative writing workshop; come sketch or take photos indoors or out in the sculpture gardens!

Skylands Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Suggested entry donation is $10 per person. All ages are welcome. Memberships are available.
