The Center for Contemporary Art

  • Instagram
The Center for Contemporary Art presents three concurrent solo exhibitions by Jennifer Hecker, Wen Redmond, and Oxana Kovalchuk. The exhibitions open Friday, April 17, and remain on view through June 7, 2026.

Jennifer Hecker’s Water Works presents found objects in mixed media sculptures indicating human activity or purpose, while including glass elements to represent water in its many forms.

Turning Point is a collection of paintings with collage elements, paper collages, and glass collages by Oxana Kovalchuk. This collection is a reflection on the personal immigration experience of the artist, the importance, and the challenges of an adaptation process.

Wen Redmond’s Musings, Memory and Magic exhibition centers around bringing the outside in, bringing a sense of delight and appreciation of the natural world to viewers through her art. Manipulating photographs, working with fiber art, and creating digital images is a large part of her artistic motivation.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, April 17, from 6:00–8:00 PM, inviting the public to experience work by this dynamic group of artists across multiple gallery spaces. Admission is free, and the gallery is an inclusive, ADA-compliant space welcoming all members of the community.
