"Chopped" Painting: Live!

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, Garden State Watercolor Society (GSWS) will host an exciting live “Chopped"-style painting event at the Middletown Arts Center (MAC) 36 Church St, Middletown Township, NJ, from 2-4pm. GSWS artists will be given several secret ingredients (just like the famous cooking show) that they must use to create one-of-a-kind watercolor paintings. The finished, matted paintings will be raffled off to benefit both MAC and GSWS.

Lighht refreshments will be served.

 

Paint Your Own Postcard Event

On Sunday, April 21, 2024, GSWS will host a fun opportunity for artists and art lovers of all ages to create their own postcards at the Middletown Arts Center (MAC) in Middletown, NJ from 2-4pm. This event is inspired by the GSWS 6th Annual Art Installation of hand-painted postcards inspired by the Past, Present and Future entitled “Wish you were here!”

 

From  Monday, April 8  -  Saturday, May 11, the public is invited to view the GSWS Fifty-Fourth Annual Open Juried Exhibition and Sixth Annual Art Installation of hand-painted postcards – inspired by the Past, Present and Future – entitled “Wish you were here!” See middletownarts.org for gallery hours or call (732) 706-4100.
